Lady GaGa : Jo Calderone dans le clip de ’Yoü and I’ !

Depuis plus de dix ans, Elton John organise sa soirée caritative White Tie & Tiara Ball, au bénéfice de sa fondation de lutte contre le sida. Le 24 juin 2010, Lady GaGa était invitée à se produire au cours de la 11e édition dédiée à l’art contemporain. Elle en a même profité pour interpréter un morceau inédit baptisé Yoü and I. Voici une toute nouvelle chanson que personne n’a encore entendue, a-t-elle indiqué en introduction. C’est la première fois que je la joue en live, tout comme mon groupe... C’est un titre rock’n’roll donc il est assez peu probable qu’il soit choisi un jour comme single. Je peux donc vous le présenter ce soir !

Après Born This Way, Judas et The Edge Of Glory, il s’agit du quatrième extrait officiel de l’opus de la Lady. On y retrouve les choeurs et les accents country caractéristiques de son producteur, le talentueux Robert John "Mutt" Lange. Ce dernier s’est notamment fait connaitre en signant quelques morceaux pour Céline Dion ou Britney Spears, et surtout en offrant à Shania Twain la majorité de ses tubes.
