François Hollande sera le candidat socialiste à la prochaine élection présidentielle.
Il est sorti vainqueur de ce deuxième tour des primaires socialistes en remportant 56.57% des voix face à Martine Aubry qui a totalisé 43,43% des voix.
Plus de 2.8 millions de votants sont venus départager les deux candidats potentiels.
À Paris, Martine Aubry est restée légèrement favorite devant François Hollande, avec 50,34% des suffrages contre 49,66%.
